I think we'll continue to struggle for another month or two but long-term I'm very positive. We have the right manager, we have the right players, we just need time for them to gel. Idiots going over the top in October doesn't help. In no other job would someone be expected to make such a huge impact in just two months. I'm still predicting top 8.

If we struggle for another month or two we will be out of contention for promotion/play offs and probably your predicted top 8 finish. Although Adams hasnt been brilliant, the last thing we need is another change of manager.

I cant see us being much past 20 points going into the Christmas games, but I hope I am very wrong

I know what you're saying:lolol:

But seriously, the start of this season is almost identical to the start of last season in both points and performances. You can't judge him properly until he's had plenty of TIME to create his own team.
Well actually I can and I am. So far, I'm not impressed and sadly I'm not surprised either.

Relevant question, especially at this early stage. Anything is possible and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us struggle. Every fan gets nervous to a degree once we hover around 16th or lower I would guess. If the players get the jitters and that turns into meltdown then who knows..... worried, a little maybe, but I'm not expecting to go up or down this year.

People who ignoring the relegation zone now are fooling themselves. At the moment we are in a relegation battle - true the position we are in is no different but we are another month into the season and not much closer to reaching the crucial 50 points. Ignore league position - think about points targets at this stage of the season.

I hate to be a doom monger but I can see I easily getting sucked into a battle. We need to win a few before christmas, at the moment I don't see where those wins are coming from.

there are a number of teams below and around us that are no better than us so I would think that if we can get a result very soon, even if it is a lucky one, we will be ok

worse teams than us in the league who will all takes points of each other, but don't think it will be a battle getting too close for my liking though

Brighton
My concern is for January when we lose I think all of our loan players.
We keep saying we dont have a settled side but when these players have a run together results will get better.
So in January we start all over again, how long will it take that side to settle?

Yes I am concerned.

I've held back from final position predictions so far as felt it's still too early in the season.

Increasingly thinking mid-table now though.

Be very interested to see where player movements leave our prospects at the end of January.
