Gerry Ryan was an absolute Albion Legend. After playing he ran a pub in Mid Sussex. The walls were covered with all of his swapped shirts from his Irish career.

I once had a few pints at the bar talking to Gerry and one of his friends, the one and only Liam Brady. What a night..

Shocking. Several replies already and no mention of Mr Albion himself ...

Charlie Webb should be the first name to be mentioned

You forget Brighton & Hove Albion wasn't invented until August 2011

Who could forget one of the few Irish international goalkeepers to play for the Albion. Wayne Henderson.

Frank Stapleton - WELL past his best when he played for us. Think he was there as one of Brady's drinking buddies

Gerry Armstrong,

We used to have a good connection to Tottenham and ended up with some excellent players, much better than the so called Arsenal connection where we ended up with mostly dross.

Jack Charlton would see Kerry Mayo as Irish and believe Haywards Heath and Peacehaven were in the Emerald Isle.
