At the moment we have all the incisiveness and urgency of a rock. It usually means that the second half will be “the good half”, but it would be nice to string two of them together.

He's never been spectacular in my opinion, just a pleasant surprise at how well he has kept things ticking over as I don't think anyone expected much of him. He's not playing particularly well today though, must be said.
Should an established PL side be constantly starting with such a player though? You’d think not really. Oh well, fingers crossed Bart has a good night!

just so painfully slow trying to get the ball forward. i don’t get it. we have players with pace, we have players who play well in transition. have they been told to slow things down by the manager? that seems unlikely. don’t understand it.
We miss Rutter. He drives the team forward.
