Nice interview with Terry Connor on their site.

Have you got a link. I will be seeing him this afternoon and will be wearing my Seagulls tie in the managers office.

OK, found it on their Player Site. He still loves Brighton and was very complimentary of their playing style against QPR.

Always loved TC. What a smashing bloke.

Was my favourite player when he was with us.

Remember when we played Wolves at Withdean and we gave him a really good reception. He spoke afterwards about that and said he didn't expect it and was quite overwhelmed.

Terry Connor was a good player. Speed rather than finesse.

Squad news, any new injuries, anyone returning from injury? Last game without Ulloa.

Superfluous apostrophes? Were loose, for sure.

I assume it's a spare to be inserted into the inevitable "were loose" comments to correct the punctuation.

Although I'm not sure what we're meant to do with the spare "o" that's been stored in "Middlesbrough". "We're looose"? "O! O, we're lose"? I don't think it's helping.

Ipswich striker Paul Taylor has rejoined his former club Peterborough on loan until November.

That means either experienced frontman Alan Lee or youngster Jack Marriott should feature on the bench.

Meanwhile, Ireland international midfielder Keith Andrews returns for Brighton's trip to his former club.

But they are still short in midfield with Kemy Agustien (hamstring), Liam Bridcutt (hernia) and Jake Forster-Caskey (groin) all doubtful.
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• A decisive result has been recorded in three of the last four meetings of these clubs, and on each occasion the winner has scored three goals. That includes Brighton's 3-0 triumph on the New Years' Day visit to Portman Road, when Dean Hammond, Craig Mackail-Smith and Wayne Bridge were all on the scoresheet.

• Ipswich have only managed one win in their last seven meetings; 3-1 at home in the Championship in October 2011.

• If four goals figure in this game, it will take the total of goals featured in competitive matches between the pair to 200.

Ipswich Town

• All three wins and all but one of Ipswich's 10 points have been accrued at Portman Road.

• The Tractor Boys are chasing a third win in four league outings, and a sixth in seven home Championship matches.

• They go into the weekend as the joint second highest home scorers in this division, with nine goals in four games.

Brighton & Hove Albion

• The Seagulls are hoping to extend their unbeaten league run to seven games, having won three and drawn three since losing their opening two Championship outings in early August.

• Brighton's last two away games were goalless draws, and Oscar Garcia's charges have kept clean sheets in the last three on the road.

• The south coast side are also eager to gain their 300th victory in second level league football.

Ipswich are 14th (and will remain there regardless of the result of Derby/Forest).

This will be the fourth time this season we played the team in 14th place.

Leeds - LOST
Derby - LOST
Birmingham - WON.

The only downside on a win is that McCarthy is the more experienced of the two managers.

Team news?
