So what's wrong with El Abd at rb...ok ok we all know he is not the best right back in the world, but it's a position he knows and has played. Putting Lopez there is a disaster waiting to happen. Carlos Edwards will destroy him. Hoskins showed a touch on Saturday that was total class, in an otherwise woeful performance, why is he not starting

Totally agree. He won't put Hoskins to start and RISK playing a straight 2 up front will he. At least Gus in consistant

El-Abd is slow and has nowhere near the attacking nature to play at RB, to suit how we play and rely on LB/RB. Lopez has played there before, and done well. Don't see the problem. Either way it is less than ideal.
I think Barnes or Hoskins much of a muchness possibly for that position.

I thought he played on the left at the Amex, I could be wrong. However Lee Martin will still have him on toast. Could be a long afternoon.

Did you see AEA's pace as the Waford bloke left him trailing on Saturday, and Spanish Dave played well when he covered at right back against Millwall I think it was.

Edwards actually played right back at the Amex but got the better of Lua Lua. Martin is a tricky customer so I think we could struggle on our right.
