No the 'vs' cost us dear against Watford. Perhaps the lower case 't' in town was tactical?

No, it was the "and" after Notters had made such a song and dance about it against Millwall. Never listen to him.
I see we have it again today, so it's another defeat.

Head-to-head
• Brighton substitute Will Buckley scored in the 80th minute of the reverse fixture three months ago, to deny Ipswich all three points, who had taken the lead through Daryl Murphy.
• The most recent of the Seagulls' five league wins at Portman Road was 2-1 in April 2006.
• It was March 1947 when these clubs last played out a goalless draw in a league contest.
Ipswich
• Ipswich, now three places and eight points above the drop zone and 10 points outside the play-offs, boast a 100% return from their Christmas matches with away wins at Charlton and Wolves, and are setting their sights on a sixth win in eight, and an eighth maximum in Mick McCarthy's 13th match in charge.
• The Tractor Boys are unbeaten in five at Portman Road, having won three and drawn two since McCarthy's arrival. Their last home defeat was 3-0 to Sheffield Wednesday on 27 October.
• The Suffolk club have scored just one goal in each of their last four start-of-year league fixtures (D3, L1), and have not won one since 2008.
Brighton
• Brighton are four places and six points outside the top six, having mustered three points from a winless last five home and away, and one win from seven on the road.
• They are aiming to enter a fourth successive new year on a winning note in the league.
• Polish 'keeper Tomasz Kuszczak is poised to make his 100th English league appearance.

We all realise now that the vindictive aim of LDC was to keep the objections to Falmer going as long as possible in the hope the Albion would run out of money and go out of business.

Watford1-2 Charlton

and PLAYER is on

I'm listening. Just hope the score stays the same and we can capitalize on it with a win, really can't afford Watford pulling away from us so a win today is more important than ever to narrow the gap.

Lopez rb Hammond and Barnes in. Oh dear.

Not surprising. Bruno was shocking on Saturday and Lopez had his best game in that position. Hammond should play because Crofts was also abysmal on Saturday and Barnes has improved the team each time he's come on.

It really wouldn't surprise me.

Bruno and Calderon injured, so not much choice for RB. Crofts was poor Saturday, so Hammond deserves it, and say what you want about Barnes, we don't look the same without him, hes had some bench time so lets bring him back, as he gives us a bit of physical presence.

I think I am the least optimistic I've been before any game this season and seeing Barnes back in the side doesn't make me feel any more confident.
