Ok, I'll break it down for you.

We (Brighton fans) really are getting (really are getting, not sure how to explain what that means) a bit precious (offended by everything) nowadays (currently, at the moment).

Hope that helps.

eh? I'm not offended - if anything I'm bemused similarly to others it seems...

This banner was NOTHING personal, it was from a group of Ipswich fans who are against Modern Football. They have NOTHING against Brighton as a club, they just object to the stadium being named after a corporate giant. I do not see this as pathetic at all, they were meerley getting their views across. Maybe the 'North Stand Kollective' should try doing a display some time.

Would do better to support their club, away end v quiet, about as vocal as Coventry and Burnley.
Really disappointed by the banner.

It was pathetic, because no one had a f***ing clue what they were trying to say. Maybe doing it at Chelsea or Manchester City may have mae more sense, but to be honest they just made every Ipswich supporter in that ground today, look like a massive c.unt.

Looking at the Ipswich fans forum, even most of those on there are completely embarrassed and clueless as to what it meant.

i still have no idea what they were trying to say. For a moment I thought they were sticking up for us, but I honestly have no idea what they were trying to say.

To be fair. Ipswich fan from a different board

1)"****ing idiots

I don't even know what point the morons were trying to make."

2)"If they are the people I think they are then they are a bunch of *****

The first one doesn't even make sense FFS.

I would like to apologise for them but I don't even want to be associated with them "

A brighton fan says they had another banner ready as well, anyone else see it? Wish I had if it was anyway near as comic as the last one!

got a link bud?

The only reason people didn't get it is because it didn't say 'American Express Community Stadium just 'The AMEX'

And for what it's worth i agree with them, stadiums shouldn't be named after PLC's

From their forum

"We are a prime example of what that banner said, We have spent loads and are still not very good."

Looking through it, it seems it was only a small group of morons and most the Ipswich fans are embarrassed..

Doesn't help at all, this is a thread about a banner no-one could decipher and most of the crowd took to be quite insulting, there's nothing precious about it, no-one is saying those responsible should be hanged or executed we are simply discussing what it all meant you sarcastic prick.

Embarrassing fail. Really can't believe someone spent money on that.

Great way to wind the home crowd up though. Maybe we should have something similar done in the away end every week.

What was oh so funny - The bit that said "AMEX" was written in pink. Oh my? That must be a reference to the fact everyone in Brighton is gay? Geddit? ???

They're such clever wits, those Ipswich fans who designed that banner. I'm going to spend all evening sewing up my split sides........

Sorry but I'm sure you said my post didn't make any sense. I was just helping you out a bit.

Anyway, I'll leave you all to get all over excited about a banner.

I think away should bring a banner every week, today has finally moved Bristol City's "better luck next year Brighton" firmly into second place.

Thank you Ipswich numpties that banner was a great kick start for the atmosphere today.
