Why is the Costa express SO expensive? Fair enough you'd want to run at a reasonable profit, but charging such high prices put so many supporters off using the supporters bus. Would have thought if it wasn't your main source of income, you'd want to charge lowest prices possible to get higher numbers.

Why do they make a profit anyway?

Like touting.

Something has to pay for the quiz books and bingo cards.

just to give you the correct information about the supporters club coaches 1 we do not run at a profit. 2 we will run a coach to every first team away game even if we only have 4 people booked. We also pay for an insurance which we get through the federation of football supporters and this means if the game is called off whilst we are on route, or if we are held up on the motorway way and miss the game we can claim back. and we can refund at the time your coach travel fare and your matchday ticket if you have purchased one in advance. also our fares compare with those charged by blues away and seagull travel. The most important thing is that there is enough variety for albion fans to get to away matches. Its great that mid sussex travel are looking to run coaches, the last thing we want is supporters unable to go to games as the coaches running are full. we are running two coaches to ipswich so the demand is there for fans to get to the game which ever way they choose. So lets not knock anyone just help to get everyone to the game and home again safely

Agree with everything you say. I started this thread to gauge interest in our coach from the Mid Sussex area, not to start a slagging contest against the Supporters Club, who I think, do a fine job.

Just to confirm. We ARE running a coach to Ipswich next week. We are on the cusp of deciding the size of coach, If you wish to come please send an email to the Mid Sussex Seagulls. We will be deciding on size of coach and booking it on Monday.

We are sticking to the low prices already mentioned.

Cheers
