Internet on my Mobile Phone.
All that information at my fingertips, whilst sat on the bog cogitating the world! What more could you want!

The Internet for me.

I remember being pleased with a modem, 56k speed I think it was and paying 50p a minute to BT for access to BBS info back in the day. My phone bills were horrendous. Also, if someone picked the phone extension up they cut you off the Internet!

Now I'm on a 200MB connection!! Completely over the top speed for what I need!

But access to unlimited information on every subject, ever!, amazing.

If nothing else it has stopped the Encyclopaedia Britannica salesman from knocking the door every month trying to flog their wares!

I remember our bill, it came to £250 for the quarter. I remember how jealous I was for those who had ISDN. I first started with a 28k modem, can remember how long it took to download an image. The internet felt harmless then.
