- Ben White is the only player who remains in England's line-up from Saturday. England have an abundance of riches at right-back, so Southgate is playing a centre-back there. Naturally.

Portugal v North Macedonia

- Can North Macedonia pull off one more shock and reach the World Cup finals? Is anyone #TeamPortugal tonight? Ronaldo has asked for the Portugese national anthem to be cut from the stadium PA to enable the fans to belt it out acapella Amex-style.

The chance to see Zaha playing against England was the only reason I intended to watch the game. His absence from the starting line up has removed that last vestige of interest I had in this game.

I don’t think he was even selected for the game.

From memory Ben has only played against palace for Brighton once, in the October 2020 1-1 draw, when Wilf scored.

So i doubt the answer to your question is yes.
