Suriname was known as Dutch Guiana until 1954 and Curaçao was an island within the Netherlands Antilles until 2010.

Well, for perspective Curacao has a population of c. 155K compared to Brighton & Hove c 279k... The team are ranked 148 by FIFA out of about 200
So the above comment is probably not too far away from the truth
