Does he continue to chase Blayney or is Henderson as good but available. Seems they both want to come here.

I get the impression from that article that Henderson wants to go anywhere he can get first team football (and who can blame him?)
Blayney, on the other hand, knows the set up here and still wants to come.

It could also be a ploy to let Harry know that he doesn't hold all the cards and to get on with the deal.

Blayney convinced me a lot more than Henderson, but then Henderson's only had the one game. I'd still side with Blayney at this point.

Hmm.. I think it 's Southampton who are buggering about and changing the price by 20k or whatever isn't it?

I reckon it will still be Blayney. Given people's reaction to Hendersen on Saturday, Blayney seems to be the safer option. Redknapp was interviewed last week about the goalkeeping situation at Southampton and he didn't even mention Blayney as being part of the set-up. Even if they get rid of Niemi at some stage, i reckon he'll bring someone else in as back-up to Smith.

I think I will wait and see what Henderson is like tonight. Saturday was not only his first game he had only met up with the rest of the squad on the Friday. Now he will be a bit more settled and know the team and the way that we play better. However having said that Blaney is still the better option at the moment.

The way I read it is he's not saying he wants to come to us he just wants to leave Villa.

He now has the opportunity of putting himself on the shop floor rather than languishing in the storeroom where nobody sees him.

After Henderson's escapades on Saturday, i don't think my heart would take a season of him! :lolol:

From what was said at that forum thing last week that is not true, that is just NSC thinking that it knows best.

A price has been agreed, but the Niemi situation is what has screwed the Blaney deal up, not money.

Definitely. £75k (if that IS the price) would be no problem to us this Summer.

Let's just sign Blayney and be done with it... 3 weeks and counting...

Saturday for Henderson must have been like the first day on the job where you haven't met half the people you are working with. Ithink he will be a bit more settled tonigght,

Blayney has a tad more experience so I'd opt for him. Henderson is till very young at 21 but if Blayney doesn't come then I'd snap him up.

Petterson, Yelldell, Flitney, Henderson etc - I've had enough of dodgy keepers. Get Blayney and stop f***ing around!

Yeah, but Molango scored after 30secs on his debut and look what happened to him...
