If you've bought the retail version in the shop, use Uniloc - it's quicker and better. MAKE SURE you download and install the patch though, it makes a HUGE difference to the game.

If you need any help - PM me :)

Installation code, is a f***ing nightmare! anyone help....

Back of the manual Kev :)

Unless you mean you can't read it properly, the O's and the 0's are similar as are the 1's and I's. Should be numbers at the start and letters in the middle, so guess them like that and should be okay. Took about 10 minutes for me but worked in the end

Yeah I've activated it now on my second attempt. Now waiting to download the patch, and I'm all ready to go!

Does installing the update / patch thing make the game run faster? I didn't bother and it is taking literally 20 seconds to get the sub screen up during games.

No, that is probably your processor/gfx card. The patch DOES fix a number of bugs though, and improves the game vastly. Worth having, as the game (with all the injuries/random crashes) is pony without it.

Am I the only one that installed it first time using Steam, and not had any problems whatsoever, I didnt even need to download a patch.

The only slow bit is trying to make a sub, like Richie, but not 20 seconds, maybe half that time.

Even the data editor is fast for me, and thats never happened

I had steam installed as I regularly play Team Fortress 2.

Installed it via Steam, and was playing it within 5 minutes, as it did the patch automatically:thumbsup:

I already had steam, but the only thing I find that takes time is when I want to make a sub, and switching from 3d view into anything, like player ratings, etc.

My game f***ed up and an "XML Passing error" appeared. I uninstalled it reinstalled it not through Steam this time and havn't had a problem yet. Luckily my saved games loaded and i didn't have to start all again.
