Done!
I'm thinking of cancelling as well, can you let us know what they offer you to stay on board? I'm sure they'll try and tempt you to stay.
They didn't! They just said "OK then," cancelled it, and moved on.
I wonder if there is a bit of a run on cancellations today?
I'll miss the cricket, but that's it. I'm delighted not to have the 'opportunity' to settle down to watch some shitty Premier League game that I have no interest in, and that I know will annoy me. I feel cleansed.
Thanks for that, won't stop me from cancelling. It would help if Sussex get knocked out of the 20T
Blast though
Done.
On the subject of leaving Sky (or Virgin, or whoever), they probably aren't too bothered because they know you'll be back. I was talking to the guy that installed our Virgin kit, and he said that, like car insurance, etc, a lot of people shop around once they are free of their contract and go back to the other company where they can take advantage of "New customers only" benefits.
Same happened with me with Sky when I left - I think I negotiated something when I first said I was looking to downgrade to save money, but when it came to leaving, they didn't try and stop me. I don't think I'll be going back - don't watch enough TV to make it worthwhile.
I didn't leave Virgin, I just cancelled Sky Sports. As such, I won't be back - I genuinely don't want to be part of the Murdoch gravy train anymore.
I expected them to offer me something, but they didn't. Not that I'd have accepted if they had!
