I'm taking my nephew to the Amex for the first time on saturday. He is type 1 diabetic so needs to know upfront about the carbs in all the food he eats. I can ask when we get to the front of the queue, but wondered if anyone else has dealt with this before? Thanks

Definitely email supporter services. Sodexo should have the nutritional information for all the products they sell.

This - they won't have a clue. Probably better to take your own food in if there's any risk.
Definitely bring your own.

I'm a Coeliac (gluten intolerant) and the non wheat/barley/rye offer is very poor.....and looking at The Terrace menu, its not going to improve much!

Definitely take you own if you need to eat at the ground, also I assume he may carry "emergency" food or drink in case he needs to top up sugar levels, if its liquid the lid may be taken away on entry to the ground.

Foodservice generally is a total desert for diabetics needing to avoid carbs. It’s all carbs because that’s the most profitable (easy storage, less waste, higher margin etc)

But yes, will be on Sodexo website and likely Albions. They’re excellent at this thing though legally they’re only obliged to provide allergen advice not nutritional (but leading businesses increasingly provide both in Foodservice)
