Stick the Premier League in and it would be very powerful indeed. I’m sure the MSL would sign up too.As a thought experiment, how much effort would be involved in setting up a new governing body for football? Calling it the World Football Association and all national and clubs competitions choose to swap.
He felt a migrant worker according to those quotes. Bet that wasn't consensual.Infantino - “…today I feel gay”
Tamim bin Hamad Al Than - “Oooh, oops, actually John, if I could just stop you there”
If only! - but of course it won't happen. With FIFA introducing its own armbands at the eleventh hour, it will be interesting to see if Kane still wears his one as planned, and what FIFA do about it if he does. Maybe we will see the England team stage a walkout if he is told to remove it.
we know full well he will wear the official one and we'll do naff all. i'm only surprised its this late they've thought of a way to avoid these micro protests. its too late to start walk outs and things, FA should have done something by not going. right now the stream of bad news is doing plenty to undo any benefits Qatar thought they'd get, to get worse once the shit football in the heat starts. With FIFA introducing its own armbands at the eleventh hour, it will be interesting to see if Kane still wears his one as planned, and what FIFA do about it if he does. I’ve thought more than once that the reason the ESL failed was because it was too small a club. If they could convince the professional leagues as a whole across the major nations then UEFA wouldn’t have a prayer.FIFA/UEFA are petrified of the clubs doing this.
Yes, I hadn't really thought of that.I work in a school and usually it's buzzing as much for staff and pupils. This time more a whimper. We are showing the England game in classrooms and on large screens on Monday for those that want to watch. I was only saying yesterday to a load of staff that we need to keep our resentment at the tournament out of our attitude to it with the kids. It's not their fault nor would they understand all the politics involved (I work in Primary). But the whole thing sucks, whether we are sometimes unseeing of our own failures or not as @Springal quoted. It was underhand and disgusting that the Qataris lied so much in order to be given the tournament and paid so many $$$. That's disregarding their medieval societal views, which are a whole other area for disatisfaction.

Harsh, very harsh. What’s wrong with writing lines or picking up litter? We are showing the England game in classrooms and on large screens on Monday
get a yellow card. You don't need armbands to make a protest. Wear appropriate t shirts underneath your playing shirts and remove your playing shirts during the national anthems. What are FIFA going to do?
Before the game to the whole team?get a yellow card.
