By the way, as we approach post 1986 on this thread, I'm wondering whether we should start posting videos of classic songs released in years to co-ordinate with post numbers. However, this could get chaotic and out of step very quickly......

Why doesn't someone start in the next post with a song from 1966 that could happily fit into an Indie club's playlist, and then nominate one of 'the regulars' to select the 1967 song? And so on and on, all the way up to 2014?
