The Big Flame clip on there's a killer. Not seen that before. Seriously, how can anybody not see that they were one of the best bands in the world?

Was it Big Flame who had kangaroos on the cover of 2 or 3 of their singles? Or is that something else I've 'misremembered'?

They also spread the story about that they'd started out as Wham's backing band, and that the clip you posted was the original arrangement.

Yeah, there was that one, and also kangaroos on the back of the Rigour 7". But I'm sure there was another one with a photo of a reclining kangaroo with it's tackle out, looking like a porn star posing louchely. (Getting some rather bizarre Google search results!)
Maybe it wasn't Big Flame, but it was certainly one of the bands from the noisier end of the c86 spectrum.

God yeah, that place was marvellous. That's where I developed my taste for halva.

I'm guessing we were probably at a lot of the same gigs. I'm trying to remember who I went to see in 93-94. Heavenly at the Royal Park?

I have mentioned this before but the girl and bloke talking 1min 43 seconds into the clip look uncannily like the two who sit infront of me in WSU.
