Indeed.

Open with Boycs and Moxon, Tavare in at 3 then job's a fish.

Chris Tavare the man most responsible for putting thousands off cricket for life. I was lucky to watch this live in 1983.

At Sydney, against New Zealand in the tri-series in 1983, he shocked the world by hitting a six off Martin Snedden during his 127-ball 83 not out.

As James Milton summed up, “When Chris Tavare hit a six, children were given the day off school, men wept, and women danced in the street, and celebratory cakes were baked in kitchens up and down the land.

Worthing
the cackling from behind the stumps is bloody annoying.

Which is the whole purpose.

I have enjoyed the cricket. So different to watching ball swing in England. India have shown scoring runs on a turner is possible. Ashwins hundred was outstanding

Usual Burns, either get out early or look half decent for 20/30 then out playing a poor shot, not on the front or back foot playing a cross bat shot. Poor.

Well I’m not getting up early to watch tomorrow.......

Regardless of the result, it’s great to have some sport with real crowd noise.

Blimey Root was exceptionally lucky there.

Kohli ranting at the umpire again.

His behaviour has been dreadful - I reckon he's in the headmaster's office after that rant

Still, at least Root's decision will banish any idea that the umpires are cheating - they're just not very good
