Sydney .
Traveling back to Hove after having drinks & bite to eat at The Ginger Fox, we went back via Devils Dyke.
On the track to Brighton & Hove Golf Club were 4 police cars, plenty of police plus dogs too searching the surrounding fields.
Turning off down Snakey Hill, passed a police van on the roundabout carrying a further dozen officers heading towards the scene of the crime.
Felt like the opening page of a Peter James novel being played out.

Must have been shooting for a TV series again, not that many genuine coppers left spare on a Pride weekend.

How do you know there had been a crime?

I'd get working on that alibi if I were you.

C) Barber in a fox-hole hiding under a stack of mustard and mauve knitted jumpers.

There's been a helicopter hovering all day. I assumed it was for Pride, but it's still around now.
Connected?

Maybe they've traced the 'suspicious package' to someone who lives up there?
