No religion =no killing someone else because you don’t agree with their religion.

Sorry, I thought it was a simple point / thought, nothing to get offended about.

You can replace "religion" with lots of things in that statement. In the meantime, most religious people carry on doing good works that save lives on a daily basis.

The fact that one of the shooters when cornered by police apparently blew himself up with presumably some type of suicide vest / device leads me to believe it’s unlikely to be far right terrorism & sounds more likely to be Islamist terrorism.

It's just a really stupid point to make. Obviously if you a remove a thing, all subsequent things will go, including the bad things.

For example,

No football = no hooligans.
No internet = no hacking
No banking = no fraud

and so on.

So what makes the following an exemption from this logic?:

No religion = no killing someone else because you don’t agree with their religion.

Ask John Lennon, I’m going round in circles with you.

Seriously though.
No football = No hooligans. Yes, you maybe onto something here with no fans going to matches.

And similarly non-religious people saving lives and doing good work are threatened by religious fanatics.

Problem is religious people hate having their belief questioned and lets face you can't all be right, however those of us who believe none of it exists at all are always made out to be the intolerant ones. If our belief of non-belief offends it's you that has the problem.

Man kills man, religion just gives an extra reason to do so.

Pardon the slight amendment

That comedians actually quite funny. Good sketch. Very Fast Show!

That's actually bloody good - and very accurate! I didn't bother with it before because of who had posted it - but hell, think I'll have to give him a thumbs up...................... sorry NSC and all that ..................

Wonder how many people will recognise themselves though.

Terrible news. I hope the medical staff manage to limit the casualties and the police and courts deal with the perpetrators with the full force of the law.

I saw a video the other day, with a young white women protesting BLM and she was facing the police line yelling near hysterical abuse at two nearest officers, who were black, about how they were part of the problem, ought to be ashamed etc. I was scratching my head watching. I mean, it’s that video sketch in a nutshell really. You could just see the two police officers thinking “just shut the duck up bitch, we’re here just doing our jobs and besides you and your Ivy League friends wouldn’t know the first thing about our struggle”. Idiots like her deserve a mouthful of baton and a dentist bill when they provoke the cops like that.

You could extend that premise to football, especially in the 70s and 80s. No football = no giving someone a good kicking because they support another team.

Not all football fans were hooligans. Did we ban football because of a few idiots? Would you have supported the move if we had?

The IRA were Christians, religion is behind most of the conflict in the world.

Religion wasn't the cause of the Irish conflict.

Invading their lands, killing their people and taking away their lands and right to self determination was what caused that conflict.

The vast majority of conflicts are started over lines on maps, politics and resources.
