It's a shame he didn't get a little longer, especially given that generally speaking Blackburn have a fairly decent record with managerial appointments. However the latest thumping suffered by the team was a terrible result and once some of the players have spoken out about things not being right you know the writing's on the wall.
I hope Ince bounces back, but must admit I doubt he would have turned things round at Rovers

Ince was out of his element when he got to Blackburn and was an early favourite to get axed before the season ever started so, no big surprise here.
Ince said something about needing to make signings in January as a new manager needs to bring in 7-8 of the players they want to the squad. Well he has signed 6 so that would have meant 1 or 2 signings. They must have been amazing signings he had planned.
