I'm laughing but only because I can remember the scenes from our version, that's probably why it looks 'alright' as I think that because it looks familiar to us we will like it.

There's no way they can recreate these scenes:

It looks horrific. I would have given it a go if a new/original idea was adapted with different characters and story lines.
This looks like the most laziest attempt at a TV show ever. Albeit, the majority of Americans having an IQ of under 50 will adopt it as their own creation and shit all over the original.

To be fair it looks a bit pants but all The Office did in the US for the first series was basically lift the entire script from The Office in the UK.
It then evolved and is easily one of the funniest comedies about at the moment.
