was going to pre book tickets but the odeon want £1.50 PER TICKET as a booking fee so I'm going to register on their feedback forum and moan and bitch and whine about it safe in the knowledge that as a battle hardened internet warrior there is little or no comeback..........then I'll cough up anyway.

They worked WITH the BBFC to get the rating down to 15.

The makers showed the unedited film to the Board who then said 'you'll have to change x, y, & z to get a 15'.
They did a bit of editing, dubbing, and cut a couple of scenes, and the 15 was granted.

It sounds to me like they are following the American Pie model, when it comes out to DVD there will presumably be a 'normal' dvd and an 'unrated' DVD.

It has had good word of mouth. I also thought Kevin & Perry was pretty good all things considered. It could have been a disaster and it was not.

One of the things I like about the inbetweeners is that the writers stuck to their guns. When the scripts first went to E4, the writers were asked to make it more edgey and fashionable. They wanted the characters to live in a city and take drugs, sort of like skins. By sticking to their guns, the writers have given us a brilliant comedy based apon growing up in the boredom of a normal nondescript town. Many of the episodes remind me of my own teenage years in Littlehampton, especially the episode that is actually filmed in Littlehampton.

I hope the film lives up to the hype because, unfortunately, series 3 was below the standard set by the first 2 series.

When I watched them first time round I thought exactly the same but having watched them 2nd time round i've totally changed my mind, they are just as good as the first 2.

Can't wait for the movie, hope it's not a let down.

A bunch of lads racing by Preston Park in their (Mum’s) car shouted ‘Backpack Wanker’ at me – I was wearing one at the time - and it really, really made me laugh.

Teenagers of Brighton: more of this sort of thing please!

i went to a wedding a couple of years ago and ended up getting royally drunk and ending up in audio on a saturday night with a mate, both dressed in our suits.

i put my jacket in the cloakroom and left my waistcoat on, halfway through the night with my mate and a couple of friends a lad walked straight passed me and called me a waistcoat wanker. much to the amusment of my friends and i.

to this day i still on the odd ocassion get called a waistcoat wanker.

The actors were on the BBC this morning.. they said the 15 certificate makes no difference to the language in the film at all as it's all about the context of the words i.e. if it's clearly an offhand joke rather than used with violence, it's fine for a 15. But a couple of the more graphically shot scenes had to be re-edited to get the certificate.

Always wary of sitcoms that suddenly base themselves abroad when the turned into movies. There is an Alan Partridge film in the pipeline and word is that he will not be stepping out of Norwich- thank god!
Could be an idea for a new thread-
Sitcoms that where turned into films and ended up being complete shit. Here is my worst. Are You Being Served.
Original Release Date: 1977 When Grace Brothers closes for redecoration, Young Mr. Grace sends the staff on holiday to Costa Plonka. Truelly terrible.

7/10 - Does what it says on the tin, no more, no less. Some of the running gags looking a little tired though, as they did in the last series.
