In what way has NSC 'changed your life'?

not even a brighton fan but the things that happened after our daughter died and the ways so many of you went a long way out of your way to help us out really changed my view on "the internet" and friends online and stuff. my oldest son still remembers how people clapped at half time and to see him have one positive thing to say about that awful time means a lot. all that was two and a half years ago, she'd be five next month.

anyway, most of you probably don't realise just how much the cards, emails, flowers and really importantly the donations that we used to buy a portable pain pump for the unit so another child can go home and not be tied to a hospital bed. it somehow makes anastasia's death, not easy to bear but maybe not for nothing or something.

ha. don't want to turn this into a depressing post really but you are a good bunch of people, despite the fact i am a cheating scumbag, racist thug of a leeds fan you all still went ahead and helped us out at a time we needed it most. we wont forget that. it is partly why you are still stuck with us now.

ps. is the great cornelio (s?) around at all?

I still lurk from time to time - especially when I am playing poker.

Border country.East Preston.
I met some nice men from here behind the bushes one evening in a London park and they have become good friends after we played together.

:lolol: Never really went anywhere - just chose not to post. Too many trolls that need feeding all over the net so I just read and post very rarely anywhere these days.

I sense a disturbance in the force - a sort of superior being back in our midst.

Anyway, regardless of the reappearance of the Clown Cornholio, I think Starry's post probably puts any more food-based frivolity in perspective.

Much of the time it's supposed to be a laugh on here. But if you, Starry, got anything good out of this board after that experience, then it was worth having it just for that.

Clapham and others have helped me out when I've been in a 'don't know what to eat mood'.

Stayed in a couple of nice hotels, thanks to NSC, (sorry Tubby)

Had my PC fixed, on more than 1 occasion.

And best of all, when hot:-
"I'm sweating like Rick Waller in a pie shop".
I wish I could remember who came up with that gem.

I could name probably one of the Maple Leafs hockey team, none of the Toronto Argos, and none of the Toronto Raptors basketball team. But I think I could name the starting line up for BHA, and even some of their alumni, Harding, Savage, Hammond, Cullip..........Oh!! I am just a fount of knowledge!!
