I despair, I really do.

Please tell me that this is some kind of post-modernist joke that I just don't understand.

I don't think this one is.

But these days, the only way you can know is by looking at the author's identity and recalling their previous opinions, not what he/she actually writes.

Keeps us all on our toes!

no but like someone said he should be asked will we be bringing any good players in

already know the answer to that:

"What good players will want to play for us? if they are good they will want to play for a club that has a) a stadium, b) decent training facilities, c) can offer competitive wages, d) are not currently faves to go down!"

:)

The most important thing right now is to get a massive turnout at the demo outside the Labour Conference, making it quite clear to them that if there is no positive decision in the next few months we will be standing as the Seagulls Party in the General Election.

Attila

That is the biggest load of crap I have read for a long time.

If you honestly believe that Tony BLIAR will be worried about a few hotheads shouting their mouths off about things they know nothing about i.e a General Election. Then you are more sad and gullible then I ever imagined posiible. If they lose two seats in Brighton it will not be the end of the world unless Tories win them.

A seagull party would just split the vote.

Falmer IS the answer to all and then only then will we see how DK can push us forward.

Well said, he is doing his best with the resources available, once we get the ground go ahead, I am sure he will be able to get some investors to commit.

Ernest, I am completely independent. I've said it before, I'll say it again: I am not employed by the club, have no desire to be, I do not receive one penny for my PA stints and I buy a season ticket like everyone else....

If I thought that Dick Knight and Martin Perry were no longer acting in the Albion's best interests I would say so - I say what I think, always have and always will, and what I think is that Dick is doing his very best in a bloody difficult situation and that throwing money at new players will endanger the future of the Club which many of us fought long and hard to save.

BISA (which was never anything more than a name, a convenient umbrella for our actions) existed at a time when we (and I include you in this) were fighting to save the Albion from totally unscrupulous, profiteering bastards. To compare Knight to them - or to suggest that everything that we achieved together in the battle against the scum, has been in vain - is ridiculous.

That is nearer the point than all that rubbish about a Seagulls party.

BISA exists as much, or as little, as it ever did. It never had any committee, any members, it was just us! And we are still there!

The blame for the mess we are in lies with the UK planning system. We voted for Falmer - we should have it. The fact that the views of a couple of snobbish planning inspectors counts more than that of the people of Brighton and Hove is beneath contempt.
Don't blame Knight - blame them, blame the system which created them, and the spineless New Labour geeks who aren't prepared to simply walk over their toffee nosed rubbish and give us our stadium. If we do not get the go-ahead for Falmer, and get it very soon, our rage will be directed fair and square at the people who deserve it: politicians, bureacrats, the whole stinking lot of them.

That is much nearer the point than all that rubbish about a Seagulls Party which would achieve absolutely Jack S..t

please everyone. Try and think back to the nights at the goldstone losoing to Hereford, Darlington, the afternoons at Gillingham getting walloped by Torquay etc...........

this is just beneath contempt

What is the point of DK standing down ?

It is not as if a replacement is available.

That's more like it and perhaps you could ask Paul Samrah to have a little look thru the clubs accounts to put all our minds at rest.

the question for the 6 who say yes is Who Steps Into Knight's Shoes?

Come on, name one wealthy person who you genuinely reckon would take on the club next week.

Otherwise f*** off. :salute:

Going back to the Falmer situation, every albion fan will vote against labour if we don`t get the go ahead, but every one against Falmer will vote for the government if they turn it down,so it really makes no difference to John Prescott whatever decision he makes, and when Harty on phone-in seems to think that it will cost Labour general election,if Falmer is turned down, what a clown!!
