About the only useful thing the post count gives is the ability to judge whether someone is just on here to wind us up for a day, or has a genuine interest in the board.
I do tend to find threads getting excited about passing certain numbers a bit daft, and only stuck with this one coz I noticed the claimed number wasn't correct!
On balance, though, can we have them back, please?

VIZ Top Tip:
Don't have your post count at the hands of Moderators! Simply remember your post count and record it in either the 'Location' or 'want Falmer' fields. Then every time you make a new post simply edit that field with your new count!
