I suppose all sorts of questions of his brain's activities and the legion of wallpapery thoughts that perhaps must have covered it all these years are asked.
I'd like to know if a boxer upper-cutted into a coma for 15 years wakes and thrusts a blow in the direction of whoever might still be stood there a foot or two from him as his brain last visually saw. Whether the natural reaction to open eyes and the deepest breath is the immediate follow-up to the last all those years ago. Whether they instead just wake with stretched out arms and a hefty yawn, saying good morning to the wife and if she fancied some, his wink saying as much as his mouth could offer.
