I know a few Soton fans. Their arrogance is beyond belief.
So do i and i`d agree with that statement

I'd be gutted if we went up and played in a blue shirt rather than in stripes.
Absolutely! What the hell kind of a club ditches theit traditional kit like that and tries to look like Liverpool??

Out of all the Premiership teams this season.
Really hope they do well and I'd love to see them stuff a few northern clubs.
I have no feeling about whether they stay up or not. We've had a bit of fun with a temporary rivalry over 1 season, mainly because their ignorant twat of a manager gobbed off for no reason and we destroyed them and made him look veery silly, but now they are back to being the non-entity on my radar they always have been.
Like so many people I think you misunderstand the word 'supporting'. You can 'follow' Southampton in the same way that I 'follow' all Lincolnshire clubs. You can 'wish them well' if you so choose. You can certainly 'like the way they play' (and I rather like Southampton's movement and ability to find men in space).
But you can't 'support' them just by sitting in front of the telly. That's what most Man U 'supporters' call support. Support involves getting out there and turning up at matches.
The word 'supporting' was used to bring people to this thread. Which has worked.
Thanks for the brief English lesson though

Seem to remember Wigan doing the same thing. Very strange.
