And pick three things wrong with today. None realte to our performance!

1st - Lino infront of the Doug Ellis. He was genuinly appaluling and missed clear-as-day decisions that even villa looked surpirsed to be given.

2nd - Wankish villa fans who left early when they were winning I'd kill if t meant us lot could have Villa park lifted and put in to sussex. Tossers... :wozza:

3rd - Ashley Young's "OWww Ref he hurt me" scene, which as soon as teh ref turned away, he jumped up and walked on instantly and fit as a fiddle. It really pissed me off this. Blatent cheating that neither the ref (Who must have been suspicious of his non-limping gait) or teh Lino (who could see it all) told mr Young off! :wanker:

4th - I lost my stub

However. The important thing about today was that I personally feel that Sussex can be proud of our boys. They didnt give in. And we looked like bottom half prem side. Poyet has instilled a new ethic in teh players and its starting to show.

A while ago i made a passing comment about Elphick at Withers and said that he was good for 80 minutes or so and then he just turns off. This has however been irradicated over time. Crofts has turned in to a little gem. Hell. Even Navarro had a decent game today. I can honestly say i've not been prouder to be a Brighton fan than today. Since we know where were going.

Kuipers looked solid, bar an early fumble, he had good hands, made some stunning saves. Great day and I look forward to Layton Orient which is my next away, and Millwall at the ol' Withdean!

The problem with the performance was three minor errors that Villa were clinical in dealing with.

Nah... Villa were clinical because they are Villa. I havn't got a bad word to say about our performance today. The three issues and the one catastrophy (My stub!) are all that matter!

Incedently. I lost the stub from the pitch invasion of Withers after City. I've seen two prem sides play the Albion. I've not got a stub to show for it

Ashley Young however. Is a wanker.

Did it feel strange to be at Villa Park but cheering on the away team ?

It was a bit strange tbh, but it's consolidated the feelings I have for the team I truely love & regularly watch home & away; the place I chose to live in, call home & adore; & the many friends top folk I now know & see at matches. And all those elements are intrinsic to my relationship with Brighton & Hove Albion FC. I am smitten & very, very proud of our performance on & off the pitch today. Well done everybody. X

Loved the Villa fan on 606 saying exactly the same thing. Having a right pop at Young.

Not got a stub. what is your problem. The stub doesn't prove to you that you were there, the memories of the game should do that. I could't give a toss about a small piece of card but what I do remember is having seen my team promoted at St James, playing at Wembley 3 times and beating Liverpool on route to one of those appearances. Oh and of course a memorable day at Villa Park.

It was a poor show from Young espiecally his unneeded reaction afterwards.

Does Ashley Young ever play any differently as every time I see him play he acts like a petulant child.
