Was on the bus just now when the GOSBTS ringtone suddenly rang out from some random old bloke's phone! Always a pleasure to hear in random parts of south London.

"You support Brighton?" I said to him, but got no response. "I sing that every bloody weekend," I continued. More non-plussed silence.

"Good Old Sussex By The Sea?" I asked. At which point he got off the bus.

Quite why a random non-Brighton fan in south east London would have GOSBTS on his phone is beyond me, unless he'd nicked the phone, but I spent the rest of the journey humming the song to myself and thought BRING IT ON.

Can't wait til next season! :clap2:

Strange. I got a similar response when I tried to spark a conversation with some troll wearing the colours in Camden Sainsburys.

There is a tramp that hangs around Soho who wears a '91 play-off final t-shirt. When I asked him about it, he looked at me as if I were mental.

Victor Bhanerjee's notebook
I was half asleep on on the bus the other day and sumbuddy rang me. They kept tapping me on the fecking shoulder whilst was trying to talk to an estate agent called Dominic O' Toole.

Dreadful chap.

It's because talking to people on buses is just not the done thing in London.

Not even if they're family!
