Just in case we get past Derby and get to Wemberleeeeeey, I'm buying an insurance policy to pay for the day out.

Let's suppose that a ticket will be circa 45 quid along with the train/ coach fare etc, another twenty.

That puts us on a minimum of 65 notes so far without any beer or crisps.

For me, I'm straight gown Lad brokes who are giving 9/2 for us to qualify.

If I lose my score, so be it, If we qualify I'll pick up 110 pounds to cover the day.

Not in the true spirit of it all but to lessen the blow of the £20 if we didn't make it, put a further £20 on Derby to reach Wembley(don't know odds) but return would reduce the £20 lost should Brighton fail. Would still leave you a £70 profit WHEN we reach Wembley.

If Brighton are 9/2 and there is 100% chance that either Derby or Brighton will reach wembley, Derby are going to be at least 9/2 on to qualifty even excluding the overound. So a £20 bet will return at most about £4.40 enough to buy a pint of Guinness in the Lord Nelson after the game realistically you heading to Wetherspoons with you winnings, probably not going to cheer you up too much.
9/2 is good value for Brighton, you record against the top teams away is good and Derby record and home against the top team is not fantastic. Might even have some myself at 9/2
