Ok Spain V Italy was toilet but thats because Italy had no intentiomn of trying to win the game and went for penalties from the kick off. Even that was a joy to see Spain win on penalties and justice be served.

How can you say you're bored with it?? I personally think it's been very good (apart from Italy not wanting to play football, which meant one of the the most anticipated games became one of the least entertaining).

it has been great apart from last night.

-54 shots on target in the Holland Russia game
-Turkey have been ahead for 2 minutes in the whole tournament and now have to name their 3rd keeper as an outfield sub
-Holland, Spain and Croatia have been brilliant.
-All the unfancied teams have played a huge part, not just made up numbers.
-There have been a few upsets
-Full houses for every game
-I still have 3 of my 4 bets that could come in.
-Mark Lawrenson said probably the most controversial thing ever in the history of the game.

£5 on each bet
Spain to win 6/1
Podolski Golden boot 9/1
Villa Golden Boot 14/1

Had Poland to win 66/1 each way (make it to final in other words)

Oh I want Spain to win too, I've got them in my sweepstake.

Am I right that of the players still in the tournament, the Golden Boot leaders are;

Villa 4
Pavulychenko 3
Podolski 3

Nihat may have 3 but he won't play again. Yakin has 3 but is out.

Until the penalties, last night was dull but this has been a very good tournament. I've enjoyed the Dutch, the Turks, and even the Germans have played beautifully at times but particuarly, I've enjoyed the Russians. Fantastic to watch a real team who have been underdogs attack, dazzle and get what they deserve. I hope they win it. You can't help but think what might have been if the FA had appointed Hiddink in 2006 when they had the chance. f***ing Idiots.

If this tournament has failed to entertain you then best you give up watching the beautiful game all together.

Absolutely!

One of the best tournaments for shocks, upsets and all round attacking football that I can recall, I have absolutely loved it.

Also the whole tournament looks so much more relaxed, without England being there.Imagine the Turkey - Croatia Fans Zone on Saturday, if England had been there instead, with Croatia scoring with two minutes ago. It would have been a riot.

Great tournament, some great football tactical and football holding me in suspense, the turkey games have been excellent for entertainment. And with the punters spending time on the different nations, insteading on wanking over how good Rooney or X, y or z is and that z has a cold.

Have to admit i'm quite glad that there is two tonights off before the semi's, some of that might be down to the fact that the last 3 games have gone to extra time but come wednesday i will be up for watching the Germany game.

Maybe it is to do with my country being out, but I miss watching Brighton. Yes the football has been superb and I have enjoyed it during the beginning, but these last few knockout games have been rather dull in my opinion compared to the group games. I want to relive the passion of watching Brighton, the only team who can do that to me.
