I was going to be completely unbothered but I'm in bronze for attending 10 home games and having checked there were only 6 league games I missed at home so I can only assume 3 times the stewards let me in cos my ticket wasnt scanning

Said I attended 10 games at home (sure it was more than that!!) and saw 25 Albion goals.....2.5 goals a game on average, I'll take that all day long:rave:

But I DIDN'T get a gold star for attending Canvey Island in the FA Cup many moons ago ;)

Wonder if the two away games it says I missed that I didn’t were the two I had to pick up tickets at the ground for.

Home games they got right …. Just two short for away games.

The dull part of the south coast
The club is now giving out "digital trophies" to fans, as per https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/news/3532647/your-season-in-numbers-explained

basically you are a better fan if you are able to attend all honme and away matches. The blurb says : "Which Seagull trophy you receive will be based on your match attendance and dedication to Albion throughout the 2022/23 Premier League season, giving you the ultimate bragging rights to share on Twitter!"

  • Diamond Seagull: Attended 35+ Premier League matches throughout 2022/23
  • Gold Seagull: Attended 25+ Premier League matches throughout 2022/23
  • Silver Seagull: Attended 15+ Premier League matches throughout 2022/23
  • Bronze Seagull: Attended 5+ Premier League matches throughout 2022/23
I dont like this, its one thing showing you your stats but to rank fans in this way is a bit naff. Lots of people are dedicated fans but simply cant afford to attend all matches. Id say a fan attending 10 matvches who lives 150 miles away is as dedicated or more so than one (like me) living a mile and a half from the stadium

Im sure before long there will be cries of Oh I am a diamond Seagull I should get preference over a mere Silver Seagul for Euro tickets

All a bit "tin pot" to me
I don’t think they have a category for “tin” - maybe it’s a category just above plastic?

Unless you went to every game in the 1983 cup run, went to the 1979 promotion game at Newcastle, went to the 1991 playoff game at Wembley, the last game at the Goldstone, the 2004 playoff in Cardiff, the last game at Withdean, the first game at Amex.... you cannot possibly be a super-fan...

Those 7 of us who climbed over the spiked wall via the club shop to get into the Goldstone for the last game are in a separate category.

I should quickly add that I didn't have any bottle tops with me then as that would've been far too dangerous.

Sussex, by the sea
Did everyone else have their trophy hand-delivered by Paul Barber earlier today as well?
I did

Because I did a mix of posh and peasant tickets I got an iron trophy. . . I say iron. It was a second hand Le Crueset saucepan.

With no lid.
