Well maybe if you'd actually bothered to get some decent qualifications this wouldn't be happening
Nothing to do with qualifications. If you are prepared to take anything there are plenty of jobs true. You can even take two jobs, and then not have a life. But if you are looking for a particular job that requires qualifications and experience then this is hard. The next part is the salary.
Can anyone honestly afford to work full time and get 180 p/w after tax because thats what some of these companies pay.
Now I am going to be shot down for saying this. I am not generalizing here either, but if there are 5 or 6 people sharing a home, then you can earn 180p/w, but you can't live on 180.00 a week if you have a mortgage and there are only two of you in the home paying the bills.
Secondly, if you have earned good money all your life, had a good job its very very hard to accept lower money and lower status. If your retired, it dont really matter, but if your in your 30,40,50s its hard to accept because you still have something to give.
