Ikea (Croydon) on Saturday mornings - Hell on Earth?

Aiming to get there for 9am. Will it be horrible? Need to get back for the game obviously. Would we be cutting it fine?

Go and park as near to the exit of the store as you can. Get there at least 15mins before it opens and get to where you want to go pronto.

my mum went to IKEA Southampton the other day, she really enjoyed it
but IKEA is definitely more enjoyable if you´re not in a hurry

I have been to the Croydon store 3 times I think...several years ago when we lived in Reigate.Vowed never ever to go to any Ikea store again in my life.

The IKEA store at Croydon is busy all the time, right up til the death at around 10pm, truly is a hellish experience waiting to check out. First couple of hours are good, but get there after 12 and the queues to check out are monstrous.
