There's no need to wonder - it has been so reported:-I wonder if he was one of the signings De Zerbi was adamant on last summer, along with Dahoud

Strong yes, for sure. But athletic? The bloke can’t run! And even when he tries, to change direction is like watching a car do a 3 point turn. He’s got the agility of a double decker busBassey and Igor have a lot of similarities tbh. Strong, athletic, not able to do the basics and having that general aura of being a disaster waiting to happen.
True. Athletic should've been 'bulky', or just built like a tank, which was covered in 'strong'.Strong yes, for sure. But athletic? The bloke can’t run! And even when he tries, to change direction is like watching a car do a 3 point turn. He’s got the agility of a double decker bus
We should repurpose him, as the team busTrue. Athletic should've been 'bulky', or just built like a tank, which was covered in 'strong'.
Sorry I’ll be surprised if anyone agrees with that. He was total garbage. Got done by a long ball from their keeper over his head 3 times in the first half alone. Constantly out of position. Constantly missing tackles. All of the above against league 1 players. Not good enoughThink there's an agenda here with all the usual suspects jumping on his back. Thought he had a good game tonight, especially in the first half. Strong and confident on the ball, confident that he can break from defence quickly and brush off challenges with impunity. Him and Webster worked alright together as evidenced a few times by the chants of Igor, Igor.

Well at least one person agrees. Best we agree to disagree because I thought he was plenty good enough.Sorry I’ll be surprised if anyone agrees with that. He was total garbage. Strictly speaking he got done by the long ball and wasn’t quick enough to recover.Sorry I’ll be surprised if anyone agrees with that. He was total garbage. These guys don't get to play much football, much less all together as one team. They scored 4 and kept a clean sheet. It wasn't pretty at times against an agricultural Crawley team, but 4-0 is 4-0. We're supposed to be supporters with some understanding, not just bah humbug critics listing every mistake.Strictly speaking he got done by the long ball and wasn’t quick enough to recover.
Unlike Lamptey, who in the first half was worse.
We’re a Premier League club. Stick Igor on as starter against, say, Ipswich, and we’ll probably lose. These guys don't get to play much football, much less all together as one team. Stick Igor on as a starter against Ipswich with a full set of first teamers and I suspect we're more likely to win. We’re a Premier League club. Stick Igor on as starter against, say, Ipswich, and we’ll probably lose.
It’s not the game today that’s the worry, it’s the impact if we get a couple of injuries.
I'll happily agree with you, I've always thought Igor is absolutely fine and have never got the vitriol aimed at him at times. Same with Webster .Think there's an agenda here with all the usual suspects jumping on his back. Thought he had a good game tonight, especially in the first half. Probably the same lot who wanted to sell Adingra who so far has been the highlight of the season.I'll happily agree with you, I've always thought Igor is absolutely fine and have never got the vitriol aimed at him at times. Same with Webster .
Of all the Brighton journos that’s probably the least reliable by a country mile. He just repeats what he’s told or what he reads on here.
The idea we’d suddenly get rid of data driven recruitment for a second season coach’s whim is laughable. If you believe it you’re insulting Tony and the recruitment team. RDZ didn’t write the cheque or wire the money.
