Does a particular poster really annoy you?

Put them on ignore, quickly, by clicking 'Ignore User' which is displayed alongside each and every post on NSC.

Never tried this - How does one go about unignoring (following a generous change of heart)?

Best innovation for years. Thanks.

Its the only place for Palace wind up merchants and a few of our own nearest and not so dearest.

Out of interest Bozza can you see a list that show who is NSC's 'most ignored'?

Unfortunately not, due to the way the data is stored.

Each user's ignore list is stored as a list of userIDs in a single field, eg 1283, 17, 1790, 9261, 234, 7620, 12654, 1289 etc. Each list is a different length, obviously, depending on how many people that user has ignored. It's beyond my humble SQL skills to write something to work it out.

Fair enough.

Shame

I'm sure a few years back you did it.

If people quotes a user ignored by you, will you be able to see it?

The first thing that went through my mind

That is a shame, I'm sure it would make for interesting reading.

Some of the people on 'ignore lists' lead such sad lives that the only notority they get is from being obnoxious on here.

Why give them aditional recognition - it is their lifeblood and I would rather cut it off.
