Well, if I can get there on time.

Is anyone else going by train/bus? Am I correct in thinking I need to get a bus from Newbury Park tube to Ingatestone then a train from there to Colchester?

Yes.
Trains are running from Romford so we are going from there to avoid the bus.

Yes.

Allow plenty of time - takes best part of 30 mins from Bank to Newbury Park.
Buses from there at 02, 10 & 40 every hour to Inagatestone.

I'm aiming for 09:40 from Newbury Park, Ingatestone arr 10:25 for train at 10:35, Colchester at 11:12.
