Erm..... the Ten Years After vid was Alvin Lee on guitar by the way, in case you were referring to that (not Richie Blackmore).
Santana was also at Woodstock of course, and that film basically put him on the world map of music (followed by Abraxas, which was a decent album to put out for the newly curious)
