BBC Sport - Football - Grecians lose defender Archibald-Henville to injury

BBC Friday, 12 February 2010

Exeter City defender Troy Archibald-Henville has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after sustaining a cartilage injury.
The 21-year-old, who joined City from Tottenham Hotspur last week, was injured in the warm up before their clash with Southampton on Saturday.
Pay out their first transfer fee in 7 years and he's out within 2 weeks.
Shame :lolol:

There's a thread about a bloke named Troy Archibald-Henville and nobody has used the word "flair" yet?

I do not think Walsall have paid a transfer fee since they signed Jorge Leitao, back in 2000.

I’ve had a quick look on Soccerbase and I cannot see any fees paid since then.

Given they have worked with free transfers only they have done exceptionally well to keep competitive in League 1 in that time. I know Money got them promoted a few years back but still.

According to a friend, they generally turn in a profit and Bonser trousers that. However, if they do make a loss, he will balance the books - he owns the stadium, so takes an annual rent from the club.
