"The last two games have seen an increase of away fans being entertained in the 1901 Club. The club is delighted that the facilities are being used by such a variety of fans, however we would like to remind away guests that celebrating opposition goals should be kept to a respectful level.

If away fans are seen to be celebrating inappropriately they may be asked to leave the stadium."

So a few of us have reported you to the club.

More than a little ironic that the club won't allow a Brighton shirt to be worn in 1901 but a Palace fan can cheer loudly and take the piss.

I sit two rows infront of the 1901 club in the East and there was a Leeds fan in there giving it large after their first 2 goals on Friday. The stewards had a word with him but didn't kick him out.

i agree. They shouldn't allow away fans in the 1901. We dont let them buy tickets anywhere else (apart from the away end) in the ground so why should we let them in the 1901.

Probably due to all the unnecessary winding-up on here about violence, lots of people didn't bring their kids. I hope these wind-up merchants are proud that they frightened off their own team's supporters.

My main point is I can't bloody believe someone would chose to take a Palace fan to a game rather than a Brighton fan when there's loads trying to get tickets who can't. Tosser, total tosser.

That would be kids not attending probably, in the general sale area of the east (block G and H) was pakced out.

That may be because the club moved them due to their attire. People have been getting in with trainers, but the staff are trying to stop it, and sending some of the fans to other seats, that happened to a couple of guys we met up with yesterday.

I think you will find there is a minority of fans on here compared to those who attend games many parents are fully aware of the history of Palace games without reading whats posted here
