Live 15 mins from the Madejski Stadium.

The only time I have been there is in the away end to watch the Albion and when my daughter did the Green park challange.

I used to have Stadium envy when I was a season ticket holder at the Withdean, but now I feel smug The Amex beats it hands down and for the game against Reading next Tuesday, all the Reading fans will have to do what I do for every home hame :albion2:

I have lived away from Brighton 20 years so this is no short term commitment.

So to answer your question, no.

I lived in Portsmouth for a year. Watching Pompey in division 2 was a lot cheaper and easier, and they were more interesting than us at the time, than watching BHA in Div 2 (student grant of £1500 a year had to cover a lot of things in 1984

I lived across the road from the Memorial Stadium for a year and went to a couple of games, annoyingly it wasn't a season when Albion were in the same division.

I would probably watch cheap lower league football every now and again if I lived up the road but I wouldn't go further than walking distance or a short train journey.

Nah! I'd rather join the arm chair brigade if I lived too far to travel to Brighton.

If I moved away from Brighton i'd simply go to the Albion's away games that were within easy reach. Not a chance I would show up and watch some other team, my idea of Hell...

I lived within 100 yards of the Kop at Anfield. I did just what you suggested and went to all of our games in the nw etc. Saw a fair number of Liverpool games but that was just as a general football fan.

I live 300 miles away and still have a season ticket.

It just costs me a fortune and my car is in today for its 60,000 service despite only being two years old!

I did go to a couple of local games when I first moved up here 10 years ago (Liverpool/Everton/Wrexham) but I have no interest in games where I don't care who wins.

sounds you are a bit of a cock mate......

Real fans will travel from wherever work of life takes them.....(if at all possible)

Is it really a show of loyalty or just an inability to find anything of intererest in your brave new world,i suppose its a badge of honour!
Look at my mileage:rolleyes:
NOT THE MOST GREEN CREDENTIALS REALLY:moo:

Used to watch Aberystwyth Town when I lived in Wales, wasn't really a replacement for the Albion so much as the only real option to watch some live football, without spending hundreds a week on travelling, and nearly always not getting back the same day.
