I lived in Lincolnshire for 3 years in the mid '80s and hardly made a home game unless I was home on leave. Used to go and watch The Imps a few times though, and Albion away if in that neck of the woods.

Brighton factually.....
If you moved and had another league club within a 15 min walk from your house would you still watch the albion games? If so what would your cut off point be?
I would travel 50 miles or around 1 hour. Anymore than that and i would scale down albion games and go local.
What say you?:moo:

I lived 5 mins from maine road in rusholme and only went when the Albion played there (we lost 2-0) and travelled down to the Albion when possible, but went to most away games. So I am a true fan naaa naaa nan nan naarrrrr

It will only ever be Albion as far as a league club goes and I think 1 hour is about right as far as travelling time goes(unless I was coming back to Sussex for other reasons), perhaps I would occasionally catch some a local non-league team.

Lived in Plymouth for about 20 years - but hardly ever went to watch them, and when I did I wanted the away side to win! My local derby so to speak - I went to most Albion games home and away anyway

I'm about 15 minutes bus from the Palace ground. So there is no choice. Got an ST and it takes me about hour and a half door to door to Falmer and back.

Did used to live near Brentford when were at the Withdean and the trip down was a lot longer then so I did often go to brentford.

I used to live 200 yards from Molineux, I used to go there for 4-6 matches a season. I stopped when they got promoted to the Premier League. Premier League prices are a bit more than what I am willing to pay to see a team that is only really a second team.

This.

For us, St Marys is 15 minutes away, but still have Albion ST. This Saturday was the first home game I've missed since 2009/10.

I've been in Somerset for 10 or 11 years now and have been to a total of 2 (two) non Albion games featuring the Bristol teams. I have minimal interest in watching non-Albion football much of the time, and this extends to my 'local' sides.

There have been peaks and troughs in my attendance at Albion games throughout this time due to various factors. I'll never support anyone else, nomatter where I live.

Live 2 hours away from Brighton and still come to games regularly. Nearest league club is MK Dons and have only been once to a non-albion game, never again. Go to my local club Leighton Town a few times a season though!

Couldn't abandon the Albion no matter how far away. I live a few hundred yards from Woodside Road but havn't watched Worthing for about 15 years.

I moved 20 years ago, I don't go every week like I used to do, but I still get to a dozen or so matches every season. I live in mid-Wales now.

This.

Have lived for more than 20 years within a 30-minute walk of PSV's ground, but in all that time I've seen them play once (in 1991, out of curiosity when Sir Bobby was in charge).

Mind you, my record of watching the Albion in the past 20 years isn't a great deal better... *bad fan*

I am now in the situation where I live a fair distance from Brighton and unfortunately my line(s) of work take up a lot of weekend/midweek time. Have started watching a taking a passing interest in Exeter City. Having said that, whenever I can make a game i.e. in the holidays I do

I live in Gillingham (Dorset) about 20 mins from Yeovil Town, I've had a season ticket for the past 8 years and the drive takes me 2.5 - 3 hours. I've never been to Yeovil to watch them play unless its been against us and don't have any interest in them apart from seeing which Albion reject has signed for them this week.

I also work Mon-Fri near to the Lizard in Cornwall so my weekend is spent mainly in the car! Thankfully a understanding GF and Gus putting more W's then L's on the league table has made my Saturday commute much less stressful!

If I moved away from Brighton i'd simply go to the Albion's away games that were within easy reach. Not a chance I would show up and watch some other team, my idea of Hell...
