New quiz: name all the players who've played for BHA at the Amex - note this doesn't include the current season, so no Hemeds or Bongs please. There are 79 of them. Above 50 is a very good effort - it's hard to recall all the loanees, especially the class of 2014/15 who I seem to have blotted out of my memory already. All those keepers, all those loanees, where are they now? Good luck!

Did Tommy Elphick never play at the Amex?
The spelling of some of our foreign flairtisans are hard enough without having to get Indigo Calderon!
Apart from those I did SPECTACULARLY poorly.

Looking at that list, our midfield, bar a certain Mr Rodriguez, has been highly forgettable over the Amex years. I had always thought our weakest area has been that filled with those employed to score our goals but looking at our recent midfielders there's dross everywhere.
If only we had had Dale and The King a few years previously. We are spoilt now.

You're bang right - just SEEMED like a loan. I did consider putting further clues in (eg club played for before/after BHA), but I decided against it in the end. I think I'll make the next one multiple choice - I'm going to be looking at players who played for the Albion in two or more separate stints (need to decide my policy on loan players in and out for that) and ex BHA players who are now managers in the Football League/EPL. Need to do one or two on transfers as well. And one on ex BHA players now playing in the Championship/EPL. So many quizzes, so little time......

...plus it's been programmed so that various spellings (and nicknames) are accepted - eg try typing in Maximenko, Barn door, PIG and Ladesma and you will get the point.
Ooh.. transfers would be good - eg: "Forward: Rochdale > Albion > Crystal Palace, Forward: Plymouth > Albion > Burnley" - that kind of thing. But HARDER.

Yes, that kind of thing, but perhaps a little harder than that - maybe "Defender: Udoji United > Iwuanyanwo Nationale > Charlton Athletic > Albion > CA Osasuna > VfL Wolfsburg > Waldhof Mannheim > Bendel Insurance". Or maybe that kind of thing, but a little bit easier than that. Clearly, I need to strike some fertile middle ground.
