If you didn't go to Luton you don't deserve to go to Southampton

Oh yes. Young Sam is making his debut. I'll be having a quiet word in the stewards ear to see if he can get us into the away end. Which would be ace.

Oh! That's the reason I'm not going is it? There was me thinking that I wasn't going because my daughter is visiting us on her birthday, and I'm shit scared to ask the missus for a pass.

I didn't go to Luton cos the incompetent twats couldn't make their minds up about selling tickets on the gate untill the 11th hour.
I didn't apply for a ticket for Southampton, so am not too disappointed I didn't get one.
I went to Shrewsbury for the Carling Cup debacle

Does this make me a nobody, a fan or a glory seeking bastard?

ppened to

You are so right. Gone 12pm before pay on the gate appeared here. There was already misleading/ambiguous/inconsistent info on the Albion and Luton official sites re all-ticket or not.

Forget the fact that we suckers put up with all we do to get tickets for games and follow the team, surely this was commercial ineptitude first order on the part of Luton, unless something happened for this essentialy security/safety measure to be lifted by gauging sales up until that point, bearing in mind everything had been shut up for a few days.

I would desprerately like to get to the bottom of it as I almost embarked on a 100 mile round trip to get tickets before being rescued by a fellow yet unknown in person Albion supporter on the morning of the match.

Didn't go to Luton (in laws anniversary), sold ticket for Millwall (watching Wasps v London Irish), can't be arsed going to Southampton (too expensive plus we're shite)......but did have a season ticket at Prestfield for watching the WORST albion side in our history, inc being part of the smallest crowd to ever watch an Albion "home" game ever. Think I've earnt my right to call myself a Albion fan unlike the poor darlings that watched a poor performace at Luton. GET OVER IT!!!!;)

Southampton will be my first away game of the season, but I have never claimed to be a real fan. :)
