They have to be alive and still playing together.

I've been lucky enough to see Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Dylan, The Stones, The Who, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Leonard Cohen, Yusuf Islam and & just about everyone else close up and personal in small auditoriums. I never had the opportunity to see the likes of The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Taste, Sandy Denny or The Shoes live. The one artist that I'd love to see is Rick Springfield and I've just bought a ticket to see him at Shepherds Bush Empire on June 4th. Am really excited.

Which living artist / group would you most like to see?

Of all the bands which are alive and still together, as the OP specified, no one springs to mind other than Atoms For Peace but I will be seeing them shortly.

Dawes and Wilco, I'd even queue up for the tickets for a couple of hours and travel oooh at least 100 miles

I'm surprised I'm the first in with The Clash.

I saw Strummer in Brighton, but it's not the same.

David Bowie for me - hope he tours the new album although that's far from certain. Seeing sigur Ros tonight in Brixton and that's a band I've always wanted to see, so looking forward to that.
