I'd have my house here which I'm quite partial to, and a house in Sydney near my family down Cronulla way...6 months here 6 months there - SORTED!

I would live where we do. We live on the edge of a wonderful little village with a proper green, an ancient pub, barn dances, a village hall where the WI still hang around, a nice duck pond, in the middle of no where. We have made this house my dream home, we're surrounded by pigs, horses and fields, we can watch the sunrise and sunset over some of the prettiest countryside from our breakfast bar. A lottery win would not tempt me to move from here.

The only time we will leave this house is when we leave England.

Isn't life wonderful....

I'd probably not stray too far from the Surrey/Sussex border - if the lottery win was enough I'd attempt to fulfil my dream which would be a decent house with plenty of outbuildings that I could turn into a state of the art recording studio
Just off to check out that double rollover right now !!!

If I won the lottery I would have a country home in Sussex and a townhouse in St. John's Wood or Primrose Hill.

......I currently live in Berlin (a choice me and my partner made after coming here numerous times for weekends and holidays) and love living here. So, if a million came my way I'd get myself a very nice top floor apartment in Prenz.

A lotto win would still see me living in mid-sussex, but a property in the colorado rockies will also be on the shopping list.

Berlin- Fantastic place. One of my favourite European cities.

Myself, I would move to Ambleside in the Lake District and enjoy 4 hour walks on Sundays followed by numerous ales and hearty food in The Grey Walls Inn. When can I go?

Crap Town
come on then lad Kettles on !!!!!!!!!
Pity is our 4 bed detached with separate double garage will only buy a 2 bed flat in Brighton. Thats what happens to the property price gap between the north and south over a 15 year period.

If I could move, it would be to Brighton. It will happen one day. Might get a little place in Lake Taho too though!

Starry's (or Paddy's?) Descrition of their village sounds just like a FPC description of Falmer.

Mind you, I do know where they live and it is indeed v.nice

mrs starry. i was not aware there is a duck pond, it is not on the route from the pub (wonderful pub, btw) to the house so am yet to set sight on it.

i am happy where we live and probably would be hard pressed to pick elsewhere in the uk. i'd quite fancy some sort of wooden cabin on orkney or something though.
