Kitbag in Dubai
Seagulls Ska

Memorable footage there including NSC's own late great Lord Bracknell.

When we lose by the odd goal to one of the best sides in the country, it's always good to remind ourselves where we've come from.

Hawkwind in their Glory Years between 1971 and 1973.

I don't suppose I would still be alive of course but to have played on Space Ritual...

Depending on precise timings:
Mid 1960s - Cream
Early 1970s - The Allman Brothers' Band (with Duane Allman still alive.)
1970s - Little Feat.

I would never have been anywhere near good enough at anything to achieve that, though.

It was always a pipedream of mine to kick Sonny Payne off the bandstand so l could take over drumming chair in the Count Basie Orchestra.

I have long since argued that Messrs Smith, Murray & Gers needed me to have a 4 guitarist lineup for Iron Maiden!

As a bass player I wouldn't want to be in the blockheads, the who, the stranglers or the Beatles. Their bass players are quite good enough.

I think I'd be more than a match for Bill Wynman in the Stones though.

Otherwise HP Lovercraft, or Moby Grape, or Caravan or Pink Floyd circa 1968.
As a fellow bass player thought you might be interested in this guy playing Hit me with your Rhythm Stick using only one finger on his right hand!
