Your challenge - name a quarter of that four score. Go...

Can't be arsed.

1. Micky Adams

Heard it from Dick Knight personally. Same as many people have.
Everytime he advertises the post, he gets snowed under with household name applicants.

Tom would Adams come back to Brighton what with all the restrictions in place financially? I mean would he do a better job than Wilkins is doing at present?

Well, football managers got to work like anybody else. Give them the dole on one hand and being manager of a League One club on the other, and magically, they seem to 'relish the challenge'. As McGhee undoubtedly would if anybody came calling.

Some folk on here always repeatedly stated, parrot-fashion, without a shred of credibility, that nobody could possibly have done a better job than McGhee. Which was patently bollocks. This thread would not even have been attempted if we'd lost 1-0 instead of won 1-0 last Saturday.

Tune in here Sunday morning for an updated appraisal

Thats why I am an Ayeish, I reckon DW is growing in confidence and is doing a good job, but if we slip into the sh*t I would rather have Adams than Wendy.

Prob. makes me some sort of traitor but, hey ho.

Wrong......................All i want out of this season is to stay up. I was a MM must stay fan but back Wilkins because i like his style of Football and his attitude to the Fans and the club! Remember too he helped coach most of these youngsters from a VERY early age. He was a sucessful youth coach and while the step up is a big one, why should'nt he become a top class manager..........i am converted..............there i have said it...........now you:lolol:

I just get a bit worried at who's left behind to bring on the next generation of youth team. Who will undoubtedly be asked to step into the breach in League One / Two at about age fifteen and a half, soon as we flog off the current batch. Why not pay DW a very decent whack to do what he's done so well up to now i.e. bringing on the youth team. Maybe give him a percentage share of sell-on fees. Whatever it takes.

Having said that, I have to confess to liking the man. He spurns the selection of Doug Loft as he would a rabid dog, he plays towards H Block second half at Withdean and he has faith in Jakey and Tiny cox and has them shooting on goal from all angles, unlike under the thoroughly discredited McGhee regime. And he's not, to the best of my knowledge, expelled anybody from the team bus.

 That was one of my worries that the youth team may suffer but then the First team must be first proirity and lets hope he gets them playing like his youngsters from back then.....some signs have been encouraging!:clap2:

Maybe DW wants to be manager, and wouldnt have been content with a payrise and a pat on the back.
